June 9 2012 Meeting Minutes

   

The meeting was called to order at 4:10PM by Linda Lewis.  Approximately 250 members and their guests were present for the annual bull roast. 

 
Secretary’s Report: Sandi Roberts summarized the minutes of the 4.28.12 Membership Meeting.  There were no additions or corrections and the minutes were approved as read.

 
New Business:

Linda announced the executive board’s recommendations for officers:
Vice President (2-year term) – Christine Keefe
            Secretary (2-year term) – Sandi Roberts

            and asked for other nominations from the floor; there were none.  A motion was           made, seconded and voted on to approve the new officers; the motion passed.

Linda presented the Bethany Beach Volunteer Fire Company with a donation of $500 from the SBPOA.
Kathy Jankowski was introduced as SB’s new mayor and spoke briefly.
 

Adjournment:  The meeting was adjourned at 4:30PM so everyone could enjoy the bull roast and music.
