Budget Update – James announced that there will be no cost to prepare SBPOA’s 2014 income tax returns. According to Brian Roberts, CPA, “I am doing the taxes at no cost to the association, as Beach Pilates and Wellness has covered the bill as a donation to the community.” Brian’s wife, Kelly Roberts, is the owner of Beach Pilates and Wellness, located on Rt. 1 next to the Subway.

South Bethany apparel – James mentioned options he is exploring:
·        Having a contest to create a new logo/design for t-shirts;
·        Purchasing shirts locally in various sizes and asking McCabes to sell them as we have in the past versus designing a shirt via an online company like customink.com so people can order what they want, in the color and size they want, when they want.
James will send out a survey to get input.

The presentations were followed by a question-answer session. Bios for the candidates are available on SB website & will also be included in an upcoming town news release and in the local papers.

New Business - Ed Nazarian asked about creating a new SB telephone directory. James said it would be very easy to create an electronic telephone directory; we would only need to get permission from property owners to include their names and telephone numbers and then the master database could be used to create a directory. Ed said he would be willing to help with advertising but no one in the audience volunteered to chair a committee to create a new directory in paper format.
The meeting was adjourned at 11:11am.
